1962年3月出生于湖南常德。1980年至1983年工作于常德市美术研究所，从事美术设计工作。1983年至1984年进修于中央工艺美术学院（现清华美院）。现为常德髡残书画院特聘画家，独立艺术家。

2、对一种生活方式或态度的认同和肯定即意味着对另一种与之相对的方式或态度的否定。人是自然的一部分，人与自然的和谐是最正确的人生态度，是生活方式的最高境界。遗憾的是这一切正逐渐被我们忘记了。
作品说明：一束微弱但明确的光打在神龛上，提醒观众神龛里供奉的是商品社会里无所不能的“神”。
三十多年前毛赶走了一切真正意义上的神，自己走上神坛，安居神龛。
如果说“百元大钞”是广义上的“神龛”，三十多年后毛则是此“神龛”里供奉的唯一的“大神”。只是三十年河东四十年河西，同是一个“神”，意思却大不一样了。
Resume for Bo Guibin
Bo Guibin was born in March 1962 in Changede, Hunan Province. He has worked for arts design in Changede Arts Research Institute from 1980 to 1983 and furthered his study in Central Academy of Arts from 1983 to 1984.Now he is chaired by Changde Painting and Calligraphy Institute as a painter,an independent artist.

The agreement on a certain attitude towards life means the disagreement on the opposite attitude. Human beings are a part of nature.The harmony of human and nature is the right attitude,the acme of lifestyle. But what a pity that all these things have been forgotten by us with time going by.

A ray of dim but enlightening light is shining on the shrine,reminding the audience that what is presented in the shrine is the omnipotent god in commercial society.
Thirty years ago Chairman Mao abolished all the gods in the real sense and settled himself down in the shrine.
If money is the shrine in the general sense,then 30 years later Chairman Mao will be the only God presented in this shrine.But situation will be different. Still the same god,but he represents differenr meanings.
